STEAMPUNK GARAGE

Above: This is the final output of the project. Rendered using Renderman, I have made all items in this project and is the one I feel most accomplished about as the sky was the limit in this solo 6-week project.

Project Description

Having played Bioshock Infinite just before this project, I wanted to capture a futuristic take on the industrial revolution in much the same way.

I put the vehicles through Substance Painter in order to develop a realistic look in the adjacent renders. In doing so, I discovered my interest in the texture artist role. I modelled in Maya, textured in Substance Painter for the first time, and rendered with Renderman. I made and textured all these items, from the ground up, over a period of 6 weeks.

Applying functionality to my process helped me push my tank design to a much higher quality.
